Kyrgyzstan has adopted a law naming a peak in the Tien Shan mountain system after Russian Prime Minister Putin. The bill was submitted to the legislature just before the start of negotiations on Russian natural gas export duties, and adopted just after Russia granted Kyrgyzstan an exemption from export duties. Putin Peak is 4,400meters high.
