Kyrgyzstan to Join Customs Union
The Kyrgyz government decided to join the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, created in 2010. “God willing, we will be in the Common Economic Space from January 1,[ 2012,]” Kyrgyz Prime Minister Almazbek Atanbayev stated. Atanbayev also stressed that, although it is joining the Customs Union, Kyrgyzstan will remain a WTO member. http://kg.akipress.org/news:354181
