On May 31, Moscow opposition activists held their traditional demonstration in support of Article 31 of the Russian Constitution (freedom of assembly). The demonstration is held on the 31st of each month having 31 day. As usual, the demonstration was banned by the authorities and dispersed by the police. Several demonstrators, including their leader Eduard Limonov were briefly detained.
