At a joint press conference with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg stated that the two countries reached an agreement in their 40-year-old territorial dispute over 175,000 square kilometres of the Barents Sea. The area, believed to be reach of oil and gas deposits, will be equally divided between the two countries. The details are yet to be determined.
